HOWARD MASE 

HOWARD MASE PhD (Executive Coach, Organizational Psychologist) is still working at 88 and a mentor to thousands. Some of his clients over the years are Citibank, MetLife, Prudential Insurance, St. John’s University, NYU, Providence College, JP Morgan/Chase, and Citizens Bank, to name a few.  Dr. Mase continues to be a trusted advisor, coach, and mentor to hundreds of top luminaries in every sector of corporate America and higher education.

In 2023, Howard made his NYC stage debut at Tada Theatre to a sold-out crowd at 87 years old in Being Somebody a show featuring both him and his daughter, Marla Mase, and directed by Elizabeth Browning, based on the stories he wrote back in 1988, about growing up in Brooklyn in the 1940s/1950s. Due to popular demand, and Howard's newfound love of and penchant for performing, the show was put up two more times in June 2023 (AMT Theatre, NYC), and in September 2023 (Theatre Row, NYC). Once again, to sold-out crowds and standing ovations.

MARLA MASE 

MARLA MASE (Writer/Performer/Songwriter) known for her gutsy, sexy, raw performance style and lyrics that "make you think", Marla is regarded by her peers and fans as a true musical pioneer.  Along with triumphant tours in China, Europe and the US over the years, Marla received a ‘Messenger of Peace’ Award from the Friends of the UN for her visionary work as a songwriter and performer.  Her memory play The Pill (written by The Family - her son, daughter, her mother as well as her father, Howard) had a critically acclaimed sold out run at La Mama ETC in 2018. Her post-truth fairy tale, Miracles~Lost & Found  premiered at White Eagle Hall & the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in 2019.  Her multi-media performance concert SPEAK premiered at NYC Summerstage 2013. Other notable plays by Marla - The Canarsie Line & A Brief Night Out.  Marla has also been a featured performer at SXSW. She has been recently touring in the UK (Fall 2023/Winter 2024) in support of her 8th album, “The Fine Art of Pissing in the Bushes Vol. 1 ” out on True Groove Records. ELIZABETH BROWNING (Director) is a filmmaker, actress, director, producer, and transformational acting coach. TOMÁS DONCKER (Composer) has long been a prime mover and innovator on the New York music, arts & culture scenes. From the early 1980’s as a member of groundbreaking No Wave and Punk Funk bands The Contortions and Defunkt, to international touring, recording & songwriting collaborations with Bootsy Collins, Yoko Ono, Madonna, Ivan Neville, and Bonnie Raitt, to helming his own band, Tomás Doncker and The True Groove All-Stars.
